Lorimerworks has a new site!  As Lorimerworks grows and evolves, it was becoming apparent that we were outgrowing our old website and needed something new. We wanted  something that could….keep up :)  Plus, I like change.  It was just time.

And thanks to Showit, I am loving the site!  I wanted something scalable and something that could grow as we do.  That being said, because I can be a control freak, I needed something that I could personally tweak, modify and update on the fly.  Showit seemed to be the perfect fit.  It is just that, very scalable, easy to grow and change (all by myself).  Ultimately, it’s easy integration of video made it a no brainer.  It’s probably the geek in me but I get seriously excited over the level of customization possible.

Big thanks to Michael at Myntd for implementing the whole design and further educating me on all things web :) A big resource for me. Thanks Michael!

Go check it out!

We first met Jim and Katarina a year earlier while working on the Graphi Studio project in Italy and we clicked from the start. We knew that we wanted to work together in some capacity in the future and back in October we met again in Italy.   This time to shoot their promo.

Jim’s photography is dramatic and beautiful and that’s the look and feel I went for in this promo. We traipsed around Tuscany and shot mostly in the small hill top town of Certaldo. Following Jim around shooting a bride in Italy is almost too easy.  I had enough good footage for two promos.

Thank you to Jim and Katarina whom we got to know much more on this trip.  They are a truly inspiring couple. My 3yr old daughter Trever still talks about that silly guy Jim :)

Thanks again guys!

Till next time.
